Long gone days Is a pixelated RPG about the adventures of the sniper Rourke from the underground land of Core. Thanks to his fighting skills, the guy entered the elite Ravens unit. The detachment is sent to the surface with a peacekeeping mission in the territory of Kaliningrad. In the course of the action, the hero learns about the real motives of the operation, which turn out to be not at all peaceful.
The gameplay includes the exploration of locations, dialogues and brawls with opponents. Elements of a visual novel appear in conversations - the user sees the faces of the characters drawn in the anime style. The combat system is turn-based, and allows you to aim at specific parts of the enemy's body. Of the squad members, the first to go is the one with the highest dexterity. The hero is able to shoot, apply skills and use nearby objects.
On the way, the team meets residents and animals. By helping the local inhabitants, the user gets morale points, which are used everywhere. Thanks to a kind of "mana" wounds are healed and powerful skills are used. Also, morale directly affects the course of the battle. At maximum morale, the attack becomes critical. If the members of the squad are demoralized, then their damage is reduced. In addition to the third-person view, there is a sniper mode that allows you to more effectively explore the area.
In the city, the character performs various quests. The list of available missions appears immediately upon entering a new location. Tasks consist of dialogues, finding the right items and gathering. The game implements the language environment in its own way. Since the main character is English-speaking, at first he does not understand Russian residents and goes in search of an interpreter.
