Sagaia, also known as Darius II, is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up game that was developed by Taito and released for the Sega Genesis console in 1990. It is the sequel to the original Darius game which was released in arcades in 1986.
In Sagaia, players control a spaceship and must navigate through a series of horizontally-scrolling levels, battling a variety of enemy ships and bosses along the way. The game features a unique branching level system, where the path the player takes through the game depends on the choices they make during certain stages. This adds a level of replayability to the game, as players can experience different levels and bosses depending on their choices.
Sagaia also features a cooperative two-player mode, where two players can control their own ships and work together to defeat the game's bosses. The game was generally well-received upon its release, with critics praising its graphics, music, and gameplay.
